Sanyo Shokai Q3 FY21 sales slip to ¥26.89 bn

Sanyo Shokai, an apparel manufacturer in Japan, has reported decline in its net sales to ¥26.89 billion (Japanese Yen) in its third quarter (Q3) FY21 that ended on November 30, 2020, compared to the sales of ¥42.10 billion in same period last year. Company incurred an operating loss for the quarter of ¥6.78 billion (Q3 FY20: ¥2.14 billion).
Company’s gross profit for Q3 FY21 was ¥10.87 billion (Q3 FY20: ¥19.94 billion). Selling, general and administrative expenses for the period slipped to ¥17.66 billion (¥22.09 billion).
Headquartered in Japan, Sanyo Shokai was established in 1943. Company’s main business is manufacturing and selling of men’s and women’s clothes and accessories and its sales at nationwide department stores, specialty stores and directly managed stores.
