True Fit among Top Places to Work list in 2018

24 Nov 18 2 min read

True Fit has been named one of the Top Places to Work in Massachusetts for 2018 in the 11th annual employee-based survey project from The Boston Globe. Top Places to Work recognises the most admired workplaces in the state voted on by the people who know them the best—their employees. True Fit has been ranked 34th in the medium company category.

The survey measures employee opinions about their company’s direction, execution, connection, management, work, pay and benefits, and engagement. The employers are placed into one of four groups: small, with 50 to 99 employees; medium, with 100 to 249 workers; large, with 250 to 999; and largest, with 1,000 or more.

"I’m so proud to be part of a truly special culture from the beginning of this venture, and a team that has been continuously innovating it every day in growth mode. We believe in the power of true collaboration with each other, with hundreds of retailers and with thousands of brands. This is the hallmark of what inspires us every day -- in the office and in market," True Fit chief executive officer Bill Adler said.

The past year was a transformative one for True Fit. Last November, the company moved its headquarters to downtown Boston, and has since expanded its team by 50 per cent. At the same time, employee benefits have been updated, including even better health coverage, an improved 401K programme, and a more generous part time off schedule, as its executive team has worked to cultivate a productive, comfortable and fun work environment where all employees can thrive.

"Our team is full of the brightest, hardest working and caring people in the world. I’m so proud of the culture of teamwork, innovation, execution excellence and entrepreneurial grit they help nurture daily. It’s such a great honor to make the list of Top Places to Work in Boston," Jessica Murphy, True Fit co-founder and chief customer officer, said.

The rankings in the Top Places to Work are based on confidential survey information collected by Energage (formerly WorkplaceDynamics), an independent company specialising in employee engagement and retention, from nearly 82,151 individuals at hundreds of Massachusetts organisations. The winners share a few key traits, including offering progressive benefits, giving their employees a voice, and encouraging them to have some fun while they’re at it. (RR)
