Chittagong-based Denim Expert, established in 2009, is working to promote sustainability and inclusivity in the apparel industry, WEF said on its website. In 2019, the firm set sustainable goals and targets across several areas, including reducing consumption of energy and water, carbon dioxide emissions and waste generation.

In association with the USAID, the firm is also working to provide opportunities to transgender people and human trafficking survivors. Green Delta Insurance, the largest insurer in Bangladesh, worked with the ministry of health and economics to provide affordable universal health coverage that now impacts 82,000 households directly and 65,000 people indirectly, WEF added.
