Yumco opens clothing factory in southern Serbia

Yumco AD, Serbia’s state-owned holding group, has opened a clothing factory in Bujanovac, a town and municipality located in Pcinja district, in the southern part of the country. The factory, employing 64 people, will produce uniforms for the Serbian army and the police initially, and later on for other markets, according to Serbian media reports.

Yumco has enough orders for 2018 and 2019, reports said quoting managing director of the company, Branislav Trajkovic.
In September last year, Yumco had opened a factory in Vranje, a city and the administrative centre of the Pcinja district. The unit is producing bulletproof vests and has employed 150 people. (RKS)
