YKK manufacturing products for Covid-19 relief

YKK companies in EMEA have taken an innovative approach to the ongoing challenges during Covid-19 crisis. YKK are currently producing essential fastening products to fight against Covid-19, these include isolation units, medical equipment including surgical masks, mattress protection as well as PPE (personal protective equipment) and ventilator components.

YKK are also hoping to work with their partners to find inventive their fastening products can be used. At the same time, YKK companies are taking many steps to ensure the safety of their employees as they remain at work to fulfil these critical orders. Each company has put strict restrictions on travel, many have prohibited non-essential visitors to their sites, are encouraging teleconferencing, and continue to reinforce safe behaviour in their plants, such as handwashing, social distancing and disinfecting.
