Estonia's UPTY raises €650K in pre-seed investment round

Estonian clothing reseller UPTY has raised €650,000 in its pre-seed funding round. It has also started a new round of investment with a target of €3 million to expand internationally and bring its offering to the rest of the world. UPTY aims to make a significant contribution to alleviating pollution, using the three R's (reduce, reuse, and recycle).

UPTY’s main goal is to reduce consumption and the impact of fast fashion on the environment, the company stated in a media release.
"Time of person, who looks in a full closet and wants to declutter it safely for the planet and for own lifetime. Let’s give them this opportunity. Better together! UPTY is built so its sellers have as much free time as possible,” UPTY’s co-founder, Valentin Savchenko, said.
UPTY is an Estonia-based marketplace offering pre-loved wardrobe items such as clothes, bags, and shoes.
