COVID FightBack: Anita Dongre sets up ₹1.5 cr medical fund

Anita Dongre has announced a medical fund of ₹15 million (1.5 crore) to support people who are likely to be most affected by the drastic changes brought in to everyday life due to COVID-19. These are small vendors, self-employed artisans, and partners who do not have medical insurance or coverage to prepare for medical emergencies arising from COVID-19.

The company’s direct employees already have medical insurance in place that covers them and their family members. However, in case of an additional emergency, this fund will be extended to them too.
A helpline has also been set up to assist employees and partners to answer any queries.
