Aeropostale aims ₹500 cr business in India in 3 yrs

US youth brand Aeropostale plans to be a ₹500 crore business in India in the next three years, according to Sumit Dhingra, CEO of Heritage Brands Division of Arvind Fashions Ltd, which has been handling the brand since it entered India in 2015. The brand, which did Rs 100 crore business in the country in 2017-18, opened its 33rd store in Surat last week.
Aeropostale, which plans to add 12-15 stores across India in 2018-19, is one of the fastest growing brands in Arvind Fashions’ bouquet, a top Indian business daily reported quoting Dhingra.
The brand will soon focus on leisure and kids apparel as well, he added. (DS)
