Garden Silk Mills Q2 FY21 revenue drops to ₹470 cr

Garden Silk Mills Ltd, a leader in Indian textile industry, has reported a decline in its revenue from operations to ₹470.48 crore in its second quarter (Q2) FY21 that ended on September 30, 2020, compared to sales of ₹741.01 crore in the same period previous fiscal. However, company’s net loss for the period improved to ₹16.00 crore (Q2 FY20: ₹39.91 crore).
Total expenses for Q2 FY21 dropped to ₹486.48 crore (₹780.92 crore).
Company’s revenue in India during the quarter slipped to ₹429.33 crore (₹605.37 crore), while outside India revenue plunged to ₹39.87 crore (₹134.54 crore).
