Hong-Kong firm Dickson Concepts reports FY21 sales of HK$2,275 mn

Dickson Concepts (International) Limited, a Hong Kong-based luxury goods company, has reported 22.5 per cent sales decline to HK$2,275.5 million (Hong Kong dollar) in its fiscal 2021 ended on March 31, 2021, compared to HK$2,937.7 million in the previous fiscal. The company’s operating profit for FY21 slipped to HK$565.7 million (FY20: HK$737.9 million).
Gross profit for FY21 was HK$975.9 million (HK$1,232.4 million), while profit dipped to HK$461.8 million (HK$645.8 million).
Categorically, sales of fashion and accessories fell to HK$455.3 million (HK$619.6 million), whereas watches and jewellery sales were down to HK$1,044.8 billion (HK$1,439.2 billion). Sales of cosmetics and beauty products were HK$663.4 million (HK$869.7 million).
For FY21, sales in Hong Kong decreased to HK$1,654.4 million (HK$2,395.8 million), and Taiwan sales were HK$423.4 million (HK$457.2 million).
According to the group, it recorded a very strong performance in China for the year. In particular, the group’s total retail sales recorded an increase of 109 per cent with physical retail stores increasing 90 per cent, and online retail sales increasing 325 per cent.
