Japanese firm Sanyo Shokai's net sales surge 6.4% in 9M FY24

Japanese apparel manufacturer Sanyo Shokai has reported net sales of 44,603 million yen (approximately $316.99 million) for the nine-month period ending November 30, 2023 (9M FY24), marking a 6.4 per cent increase compared to the same period in the previous fiscal, when net sales stood at 41,937 million yen.

The operating profit for this period saw an impressive 68 per cent rise, reaching 1,727 million yen, up from 1,028 million yen recorded during the same period in the previous year. In terms of ordinary profit, Sanyo Shokai achieved 1,773 million yen, representing a 52.4 per cent increase from the previous year's figure of 1,163 million yen, the company said in a press release.

Most notably, the profit attributable to the owners of the parent company surged by 72.2 per cent, totalling 1,696 million yen, compared to the 985 million yen recorded in the same period of the previous fiscal.
