Parvati Fabrics Ltd’s apparel brand Raisin, a contemporary fusion wear for women, has bagged the Textile Manufacturing Business of the Year Award as part of the 8th edition of Small Business Awards. Hosted on February 13 at JW Marriott Delhi, Small Business Awards recognises and celebrates the best small to mid-sized business brands and visionaries.

Parvati Fabrics is a known leader in manufacturing and trading across India as well as exporting high quality fabrics and designer womenswear to various countries all over the world. After successfully functioning for over three decades, it decided to launch Raisin - a contemporary clothing line for the modern Indian woman. Raisin in its first year has expanded its market presence in 22 cities and 72 stores and is present in both online and offline markets, according to a media release by Raisin.

“We are honoured and humbled to receive this award by Entrepreneur India. We would like to thank your SIS partners and our customers who have trusted in us and believed in the product. Our vision is to create Raisin as a brand that sustains for decades and is known to provide comfortable fashion to today’s modern women. Today, even though the latest fashion is easily accessible to consumers online, we wanted to give consumers a chance where they can physically view trends online and then make an informed purchase decision and it has definitely contributed to achieving this award for Raisin! ”said Vishal Pacheriwal, co-founder, Raisin.
