22 Sep 21 1 min read
The World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI), a Swiss independent association, announced that it has elected three new board members Ton Anbeek, Tony Grimaldi, and Ivan Lee, following a written ballot of its members. The newcomers will bolster the cycling industry and the manufacturer’s representation on the global sporting goods federation board.
The input of these members will shape the WFSGI’s activities as they seek to help the industry capitalise on the bike boom and work in partnership to address current supply chain and manufacturing issues, according to the world authoritative body for the sports industry.
Anbeek is the CEO of Accell Group NV, while Grimaldi is the CEO of Cycleurope AB and president of Cycling Industries Europe (CIE). The third member Lee, vice president supply chain management at Apache Footwear Ltd, will succeed Simon Cheng, vice president, Apache Footwear Ltd.
