21 Jun 21 1 min read
ASTM International, a US-based global standards organisation, has announced plans to host their fall committee week in person, October 3-8, 2021, in Atlanta, Georgia, US, following a review of pandemic metrics, government guidelines, and member survey results. ASTM International is committed to the health and safety of its members and staff.
The organisation said that it will be closely monitoring the guidelines set by the CDC, state and local governments, and the hotel venue to ensure compliance at the time of the meeting.
ASTM International encourages those attending to take precautions, including, but not limited to: self-screening before joining meetings each day for the safety of all; refraining from attending in person if any symptoms of Covid-19 (coronavirus) arise, and; mask wearing and social distancing for those who are not fully vaccinated.
ASTM International will follow local guidelines and regulations concerning requirements of Covid-19 vaccinations or negative Covid-19 test results to attend meetings.
