Oasis and Warehouse acquires fashion brand The Idle Man

The Oasis and Warehouse Group has announced the acquisition of The Idle Man, a British online menswear fashion brand, for an undisclosed sum. The deal marks the group’s entry into menswear. The Idle Man was launched in the spring of 2014 by Oliver Tezcan, a former Asos.com menswear buyer. It is an e-commerce website specialising in menswear.
The Idle Man will have access to the wealth of knowledge and industry experience that The Oasis and Warehouse has built up over many years, as well as benefit from access to the Group’s established supply chain and infrastructure. Tezcan will continue to manage The Idle Man and will report directly to group CEO, Hash Ladha, according to a press release by Oasis and Warehouse.
“We are delighted to welcome Oliver and the team at The Idle Man to the group. This is an exciting acquisition for us. We can bring scale to The Idle Man’s proposition as well as infrastructure support, and the brand allows us to tap into the growing demand for fashionable menswear through a credible and well-established brand. The Idle Man’s team will bring invaluable expertise to the group and I am looking forward to working with them,” Hash Ladha said.
