US' e-commerce giant Amazon uses AI to enhance shopping experience

The AI-driven size recommendation system uses deep learning algorithms to recommend the best-fitting size for each customer. This system considers various factors, including the sizing relationships between brands, product reviews, and individual customer preferences, the company said in a media release.
In addition to size recommendations, Amazon is leveraging AI to generate Fit Review Highlights. This feature provides customers with summarised insights from numerous reviews, helping them make informed decisions about the fit and size of the fashion items.
The company has also reimagined size charts, making them more accurate and user-friendly. By employing AI, Amazon enhances the reliability of these charts and presents them in a visually engaging way.
Furthermore, Amazon's Fit Insights Tool offers valuable insights to brands and selling partners. This tool uses AI to analyse customer feedback on fit, style, and fabric, aiding brands in understanding customer preferences and reducing fit-related returns.
