European brands Adidas & Gucci collaborate for new collection

German sportswear brand Adidas and Italian luxury fashion house Gucci have announced their collaboration with a view to create something distinctly new. The Adidas x Gucci collection is the brands’ first joint collection that combines the tradition and design language of both brands. They have also shared a co-branded logo for the upcoming collection.

Some of the pieces from the upcoming range were unveiled at Gucci’s Autumn/Winter 2022 runway show at the Milan Fashion Week.
“Gucci and Adidas Originals confirm that they are joining forces in a new collaboration – Adidas x Gucci – which combines the heritage and the creative codes of both brands,” Adidas said in a press note.
“Presenting #adidasxGucci. Signature silhouettes meet the combined creative codes of @adidasoriginals and the House, creating something distinctly new. #ExquisiteGucci @alessandro_michele #AlessandroMichele #MFW,” the two brands said on their social media accounts.
