First Bank of Nigeria Limited recently initiated a partnership with Eventful Limited to create opportunities for fashion industry players to sell their products to thousands of event participants. This is part of its efforts to offer market access and other opportunities for entrepreneurs in the fashion industry, which the bank feels, is in its infancy.
Speaking in Lagos recently, the bank’s group head for marketing and corporate communication Folake Ani-Mumuney said Nigeria needs fashion zones in core cities and states, so that within a particular zone, there could be facilities for cutting, button hole creation and other related activities, according to Nigerian media reports.
