Hong Kong's Dickson Concepts' revenue climbs to HK$2.131 bn in FY23

- Leading luxury goods firm Dickson Concepts has posted FY23 revenue of HK$2.131 billion, up from FY22's HK$2.02 billion.
- Despite higher cost of sales, gross profit rose to HK$0.996 billion in FY23.
- The company reported a loss of HK$25.94 million and finance costs of HK$50.716 million, while the earnings per share rose to 64.1 cents in FY23.
On the cost side, Dickson Concepts was able to keep the cost of sales to HK$1.135 billion in FY23, slightly up from HK$1.073 billion in FY22. Despite the increased cost, the company reported a gross profit of HK$0.996 billion an increase from the previous year's HK$0.947 billion, Dickson Concepts said in a press release.
The company reported other losses of HK$25.94 million, a significant decrease from the other income of HK$20.74 million it reported in FY22. Selling and distribution expenses were HK$495.719 million, while the administrative expenses were HK$133.56 million. The company’s operating profit was HK$325.09 million, up from HK$274.82 million in FY22.
However, finance costs for the company rose sharply, from HK$27.10 million in FY22 to HK$50.716 million in FY23.
The company’s earnings per share for FY23 increased to 64.1 cents, up from 51.0 cents in FY22.
