Inspired by the travelogues of the illustrious Maharaja Jagatjit Singh of Kapurthala, JJV is a homage to a bygone era of opulence and global influences blended into a modern statement. By delving into the Maharaja's personal diaries and rare photographs, JJV intricately weaves narratives of a visionary ruler who transcended borders, unifying cultures in an exquisite symphony of elegance and grace. The bridge-to-luxury collection speaks to the discerning traveller who believes in celebrating in style albeit without the burden of heavy embellishments, the company said in a press release.

In collaboration with R|Elan, JJV embraces eco-conscious fabrics such R|Elan GreenGold, crafted from recycled PET bottles, and innovative technologies such as R|Elan Kooltex, ensuring both style and sustainability. From reducing textile waste to enhancing garment performance, JJV seamlessly integrates ethical practices into its design ethos.
This season’s collection from JJVKapurthala called ‘Char’encompasses the perennial spirit of travel dressing for occasions, which also defines the core of the brand ideology. Loosely inspired by the travelogues of Maharaja Jagatjit Singh of Kapurthala, the collection weaves sophisticated tales of subdued grandeur and modern heritage.
