- American fashion firm Ralph Lauren Corporation is expanding in Canada with a new store in Toronto's Yorkdale Shopping Centre and a dedicated online platform launching on October 11.
- The move is part of the brand's global 'Next Great Chapter: Accelerate' strategy for sustainable growth, encompassing both physical and digital retail channels.
Over the coming years, Ralph Lauren aims to further widen its reach by opening several more stores across the country, the company said in a press release.
The new online platform will be launched on October 11, featuring the full portfolio of Ralph Lauren's brands, including Purple Label, Ralph Lauren Collection, Polo Ralph Lauren, Double RL, and Lauren. The website will offer an extensive range of men's, women's, and childrenswear in apparel, accessories and footwear, along with select home items. While the English version will be launched initially, the company is considering a French-language version for Quebec in the future.
The freshly minted store in Yorkdale will offer a variety of Ralph Lauren’s brands, featuring men's Purple Label and women's collection, as well as a curated selection from Polo Ralph Lauren's men's and women’s collections. Located in one of Canada’s prime retail locations, the store is also designed to provide dedicated client services, including private styling appointments, alterations and repairs, and made-to-measure tailoring options.
