Shailesh Chaturvedi takes up chairman role of India Fashion Forum

Shailesh Chaturvedi, an expert in development of premium fashion brands with 28 years of experience in apparel retail industry, has been announced as the new chairman of India Fashion Forum (IFF) for its 22nd edition that will be held from February 28, 2023, to March 1, 2023, in Bengaluru. Chaturvedi will replace Akhilesh Prasad, who chaired the forum for the past two editions.

Chaturvedi runs the business of Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, and Arrow brands of US multinational company PVH at Arvind group as their managing director (MD) and chief executive officer (CEO) in India in their joint venture (JV) here. He took over as MD and CEO of listed group company Arvind Fashions Ltd (AFL) from Feb 1, 2021.

Before the current assignment, he worked in Hong Kong with Benetton plc of Italy as the head of its wholesale business in Asia Pacific region. Earlier Chaturvedi worked with Madura Garments as the business head of international brands division.
