- In the first 2 months of 2024, Sri Lanka's garment exports declined by 5.1 per cent YoY to $738.4 million.
- Textile exports fell significantly by 23.9 per cent to $46.0 million, whereas exports of other manufactured textile articles rose by 13.1 per cent to $19.0 million.
- Collectively, these exports constituted over half of Sri Lanka's industrial exports.
