Lower energy values pull down Asian PX prices

Paraxylene prices decreased in Asia in the last week due to lower upstream energy values in the region.
In Korea, average prices moved down by US$ 10/ton and assessed at US$ 810/ton in the last week, a fall of 1.22 per cent compared to previous week.
In SE Asia, average prices plunged by US$ 10/ton and quoted at US$ 820/ton in the last week, showing a decrease of 1.20 per cent over previous week.
In Taiwan, average prices went down by US$ 20/ton and quoted at US$ 820/ton in the last week, a drop of 2.38 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
