Asian propylene prices edge up last week

Propylene prices witnessed a rise in Asia in the last week with the support of favorable market conditions in the region.

In Korea, average prices jumped up by US$ 15/ton and settled at US$ 1070/ton in the last week, an increment of 1.42 per cent as compared to the previous week.
In Japan, average prices gained by US$ 15/ton and assessed at US$ 1060/ton in the last week, registering a lift of 1.44 per cent over the previous week.
In SE Asia, average prices bolstered higher by US$ 25/ton and quoted at US$ 990/ton in the last week, after an increase of 2.59 per cent as compared to the previous week.
In China, average prices surged by US$ 15/ton and secured at US$ 1105/ton in the last week, an advancement of 1.38 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
