Benzene prices in Asia down earlier week

Benzene prices edged lower in Asia in the last week due to insipid market conditions in the region.
In Korea, average prices plunged by US$ 35/ton and settled at US$ 745/ton in the last week, a drop of 4.49 per cent as compared to the previous week.
In Japan, average prices lowered by US$ 40/ton and finalised at US$ 765/ton in the last week, a declination of 4.97 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
In India, average prices moved down by US$ 40/ton and recorded at US$ 770/ton in the last week, a reduction of 4.94 per cent over the previous week.
