Centric Software, a PLM solution provider to fashion and retail companies, has announced the success story about its customer, VT Garment. With the introduction of Centric Manufacturing PLM, VT Garment has shortened development lead times, improved accuracy in costing and gained visibility into sampling materials and reduced time spent on data entry.
VT Garment, a leader in Thailand’s textile manufacturing industry, is an innovative designer and manufacturer of outerwear and sportswear for top global brands including Patagonia, Jack Wolfskin, Montbell, O’Neill and many others from the United States and Europe. It employs over 3,000 people across its two manufacturing facilities in Thailand and Myanmar.
“With Centric PLM we’ve reduced lead time by 7 per cent by saving time that used to be spent organising data. Overall, we have increased productivity by 30 per cent because we freed up resources for action and gained visibility into timelines and activities across the whole organisation,” Mingkwan Lotharukpong, product development division manager at VT Garment, said in a press release.
