Lifestyle to open 6 new stores in India

Apparel retailer Lifestyle is planning to open six new stores across India during the ongoing financial year. The retail stores will be set up in cities like Chennai, Mysuru, Pune and Bangalore at an investment of Rs 10 crore each, according to a company official. The company currently has 62 Lifestyle apparel stores across the country.

N Sathiyanarayanan, president – retail operations, Lifestyle, revealed the company’s plans while speaking to reporters during the inauguration of Lifestyle’s store at Prozone Mall in Coimbatore. He said the company will have 68 stores in India by the end of this financial year and the work regarding the same has already begun.
Speaking about GST, Sathiyanarayanan said that the new tax regime is helping the company and it does not plan to hike prices.
Lifestyle is a part of the Landmark Group, a Dubai based retail and hospital conglomerate. (KD)
