The products of Patanjali Ayurved Limited will now be available on leading e-commerce giants Flipkart, Amazon and Shopclues among others. With the extension in the e-commerce market, the company is now expecting a two-fold growth this fiscal. In 2016-17, the brand by Indian yoga guru Baba Ramdev crossed a turnover of Rs 10,500 crore.

"It would reach those who do not have access to the point of purchase and they are looking for alternate mechanism to shop and can get Patanjali products at home, and provide most efficient and convenient digital shopping experience," said Baba Ramdev in a press conference.

The company's venture into the e-commerce market will boost its business. "Utmost care has been taken to ensure the Swadeshi movement and it has been ensured that Patanjali products reach into every home without compromising on policies and business ethics," Ramdev said.

Last year, Patanjali had announced its plan to launch an indigenous line of apparel, including denims, for men, women and children. It has also forayed into the business of diaper and sanitary napkin. (RR)
