Walmart Canada adds 27 3rd-party sellers to online store

Walmart recently announced expansion of its global online marketplace to Walmart Canada's online store Walmart.ca, on which 27 third-party sellers now offer their products in categories, like home, baby, apparel, toys and sporting goods. The move doubles the site’s product assortment and aims to quadruple the number of products for sale online by 2017 end.
The 27 sellers have been selected for their strong online reputation and customer service and provide the broad selection of products that Canadians are looking for, according to a Walmart news release.
Walmart Canada will invite other sellers to join the site in future. Partners selling on the Walmart US marketplace can quickly and easily launch on the Walmart Canada marketplace. (DS)
