UK's Frasers Group announces acquisition of Matches Fashion's IP

- Frasers Group plc (FG) has reached an agreement to acquire certain intellectual property assets of Matches Fashion Limited, following an extensive marketing process.
- FG has granted the Joint Administrators a licence to sell the retailer's inventory for a limited period, benefiting the Administration.
- The stock itself is not part of the acquisition.
As part of the transaction terms, FG has granted a licence allowing the Joint Administrators to sell Matches Fashion's inventory for a limited period to benefit the Administration.
“Brands and suppliers should be aware that all stock held by Matches does not form part of the transaction and the Joint Administrators continue to manage all operations of the business for the benefit of the Administration,” the company said in a press note.
