Italy's CPI up 0.1% MoM, 0.8% YoY in Feb 2024: Istat

Italy’s consumer price index (CPI) increased by 0.1 per cent month on month (MoM) and by 0.8 per cent year on year (YoY) in February this year, according to the country’s statistical agency Istat.

The prices of non-regulated and regulated energy products increased during the month.

The core inflation (excluding energy and unprocessed food) during the month was 2.3 per cent compared to 2.7 per cent in January and inflation excluding energy was 2.6 per cent compared to 3.0 per cent in the preceding month.

The YoY growth rate for goods prices was minus 0.9 per cent in February compared to minus 0.7 per cent in January.
