- Italy's consumer price index (CPI) increased by 0.1 per cent month on month and by 0.8 per cent YoY in February, according to official statistics.
- The prices of non-regulated and regulated energy products increased during the month.
- The YoY growth rate for goods prices was minus 0.9 per cent in February compared to minus 0.7 per cent in January.

The core inflation (excluding energy and unprocessed food) during the month was 2.3 per cent compared to 2.7 per cent in January and inflation excluding energy was 2.6 per cent compared to 3.0 per cent in the preceding month.
The YoY growth rate for goods prices was minus 0.9 per cent in February compared to minus 0.7 per cent in January.
