Over 40 of Vietnam’s best manufacturers and resources will be at the forefront of the Sourcing at Magic show. Show attendees will have the opportunity to see textiles, fibres, and garments from Vietnamese factories, and chat with representatives to learn why Vietnam is the sourcing destination.
Sourcing at Magic will also host a Vietnam-focused seminar giving more background and exposure to the countries capabilities and advancements. The seminar titled ‘The go-to sourcing destination: Vietnam continues to lure US firms’ will be held on August 14.
The show offers an incredible source of inspiration, education and resources that keeps the fashion industry moving and drives businesses forward, said the organiser in a press release.
An interactive shared space called Square One, curated and created by leading trend forecaster Fashion Snoops, will also debut at the show. It will showcase cultural trends and leading innovators behind the trends for Fall-Winter 18/19 and highlight ‘what’s next’.
The space will come to life through experience, live on-site installations, real time art creation and talks by creative trailblazers. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to see artists physically demonstrate the feel and influence of four cultural trends while engaging everyone involved in the creative process. For example, an artist will demonstrate zero waste weaving, a process where waste is repurposed into yarn which will coincide with one of the trends presented.
Live demonstrations featuring fabric printing, scanning, 2D/3D production tools and robotics will be held at the event. Participating companies include EFI, Reggiani, Optitex, Zun, Nextwave, Tukatech, WhiteClouds 3-D Printer Service, and Royal Exclusive Cutting & Sewing Machines.
Sourcing at Magic Home will be in its fourth edition this August. The Home show only comes once a year to bring the international home textiles supply chain to North America’s most comprehensive fashion sourcing show. This year’s show will allow attendees to tap into the interior textiles, décor, and accessories marketplace from exhibitors around the world. (KD)
