Asian PX prices soar past week

Paraxylene prices moved up in Asia in the last week due to lift in the buying interest among buyers in the region.
In Korea, average prices went up by US$ 20/ton and assessed at US$ 910/ton in the last week, a climb of 2.25 per cent compared to previous week.
In SE Asia, average prices soared by US$ 10/ton and quoted at US$ 920/ton in the past week, showing a lift of 1.10 per cent over previous week.
In Taiwan, average prices surged by US$ 20/ton and secured at US$ 930/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, a gain of 2.20 per cent.
