Asian benzene prices edge lower last week

Despite strong upstream energy values, benzene prices drifted lower in Asia in the last week.

In Korea, average prices went down by US$ 20/ton and settled at US$ 845/ton in the last week, a decrement of 2.31 per cent as compared to the previous week.

In Japan, average prices marched lower by US$ 20/ton and quoted at US$ 860/ton in the last week, a decline of 2.27 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
 
In India, average prices plunged by US$ 20/ton and secured at US$ 865/ton in the last week, a reduction of 2.26 per cent over the previous week.
