Asian ethylene prices decrease past week

Ethylene prices dropped down in Asia in the last week because of sluggish buying trend in the region.
In Korea, average prices plunged by US$ 25/ton and assessed at US$ 1250/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, a decrement of 1.96 per cent.
In Japan, average prices stepped down by US$ 25/ton and quoted at US$ 1245/ton in the last week, a fall of 1.97 per cent compared to previous week.
In SE Asia, average prices decreased by US$ 10/ton and recorded at US$ 1205/ton in the last week, a drop of 0.82 per cent compared to previous week.
In NE Asia, average prices edged lower by US$ 15/ton and assessed at US$ 1295/ton in the last week, registering a declination of 1.15 per cent from the previous week.
