Asian ethylene prices sharply improve last week

Ethylene prices jumped sharply in Asia in the last week due to limited product availability along with the bullish demand trend in the region.
In Korea, average prices enhanced by US$ 80/ton and secured at US$ 1265/ton in the past week, as compared to the previous week, an increase of 6.75 per cent.
In Japan, average prices advanced by US$ 80/ton and quoted at US$ 1260/ton in the last week, a jump of 6.78 per cent compared to the previous week.
In SE Asia, average prices soared by US$ 30/ton and recorded at US$ 1245/ton in the last week, an advancement of 2.47 per cent compared to the previous week.
In NE Asia, average prices climbed by US$ 45/ton and assessed at US$ 1330/ton in the last week, registering a lift of 3.50 per cent from the previous week.
