Asian ethylene prices show mixed trend last week

Ethylene prices showed mixed movement in Asia in the last week.
In Korea, Japan and SE Asia average prices remained firm due to moderate business activity.
In Korea, average prices stayed stable and assessed at US$ 1205/ton in the last week over the previous week.
In Japan, average prices kept inert and settled at US$ 1200/ton in the last week as compared to the previous week.
In SE Asia, average prices maintained steady trend and secured at US$ 1190/ton in the last week over the price prevailing at the end of previous week.
In NE Asia, average prices stepped up by US$ 5/ton and quoted at US$ 1255/ton in the last week, an enhancement of 0.40 per cent as compared to the previous week due to improvement in buying interest in the region.
