Asian propylene prices edge lower past week

Propylene prices plunged in Asia in the last week due to sluggish demand trend in the region.
In Korea, average prices reduced by US$ 20/ton and secured at US$ 875/ton in the last week, after a drop of 2.23 per cent as compared to the previous week.
In Japan, average prices decreased by US$ 20/ton and quoted at US$ 885/ton in the last week, a declination of 2.21 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
In SE Asia, average prices declined by US$ 10/ton and recorded at US$ 810/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, a fall of 1.22 per cent.
In China, average prices moved down by US$ 5/ton and assessed at US$ 930/ton in the last week, a reduction of 0.53 per cent compared to previous week.
