Asian PTA prices drop past week

PTA prices slowed down in Asia in the last week owing to softer buying trend in the region.

In FE Asia, average prices decreased by US$ 5/ton and recorded at US$ 640/ton in the last week, after a drop of 0.78 per cent as compared to the previous week.
In SE Asia, average prices went down by US$ 5/ton and quoted at US$ 660/ton in the last week, a reduction of 0.75 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
In China, average prices reduced by US$ 5/ton and assessed at US$ 640/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, a fall of 0.78 per cent.
