Asian PX prices plunge last week

Paraxylene prices declined in Asia in the last week due to weak buying activity in the region.
In Korea, average prices moved down by US$ 10/ton and settled at US$ 1000/ton in the last week as compared to the previous week, a fall of 0.99 per cent.
In SE Asia, average prices drifted lower by US$ 10/ton and secured at US$ 1005/ton in the last week, a declination of 0.99 per cent over the previous week.
In Taiwan, average prices decreased a bit by US$ 5/ton and quoted at US$ 1015/ton in the last week, a reduction of 0.49 per cent as compared to the previous week.
