Benzene prices improve in US last week

Benzene prices went up in US in the last week owing to higher upstream energy values in the region.

In US, average prices marched higher by 5 cents/gallon and recorded at 270 cents/gallon, a rise of 1.89 per cent as compared to previous week.
Meanwhile in Europe, average prices kept unchanged and assessed at US$ 780/ton in the last week due to moderate buying sentiments in the region.
