CCI highlights US cotton's sustainability at Peru Moda

The Cotton Council International (CCI) highlighted how the US cotton industry intends to meet its 2025 sustainability goals at its booth at the recently held Peru Moda 2019 trade show in Lima. CCI also promoted how it’s Cotton USA licensing programme can boost business. Peru Moda is the international trade show of textile, apparel, footwear, and jewellery.
Cotton USA gained additional exposure by featuring its logo in the event’s official magazine and on screens throughout the show, according to a CCI press release.
Peru Moda had 241 exhibitors, 8,000 visitors, and an estimated $120 million in business. Visitors included about 375 international buyers, mostly from the US, Europe, Argentina, and Brazil, who had the opportunity to do business with the exhibitors of cotton garments. (GK)
