Dutch inflation rate measured by the consumer price index (CPI) was 4.6 per cent in July 2023, according to a flash estimate released by Statistics Netherlands (CBS). This indicates that consumer goods and services were, on average, 4.6 per cent more expensive in July 2023 than in the same month the previous year. This comes after the inflation rate for June, which saw consumer goods and services increase in price by 5.7 per cent compared to June 2022.

It's crucial to note that the 4.6 per cent inflation for July doesn't pile onto June's 5.7 per cent rate. Rather, it signifies that the price rise has somewhat decelerated compared to the previous month, as per CBS.
