Higher upstream energy values push Asian PX prices

Paraxylene prices went up in Asia in the last week due to higher upstream energy values in the region.
In Korea, average prices improved by US$ 5/ton and assessed at US$ 760/ton in the last week, a hike of 0.66 per cent compared to previous week.
In SE Asia, average prices surged by US$ 5/ton and quoted at US$ 775/ton in the last week, showing a rise of 0.65 per cent over previous week.
In Taiwan, average prices went up by US$ 15/ton and assessed at US$ 790/ton in the last week, registering an increment of 1.94 per cent from the previous week.
