How will Indian manufacturers revive post-COVID-19?

Given the present unprecedented circumstances, the question naturally arises whether Indian manufacturers will be able to survive this? An interactive panel discussion will deliberate on this and other questions like: Can India jump on this chance to become a strategic sourcing centre? Is this India’s golden chance?
The panel discussion, being organised by Fibre2Fashion, will comprise key players from the Indian textile industry, and is scheduled for Thursday, May 14, 2020, at 11.30 a.m. IST.
Current global and Indian scenario, challenges faced by the Indian textiles-apparel value chain, government measures required, India and its competing garment manufacturing countries, how can India leverage this golden chance, etc would be discussed by panelists comprising Sanjay Jain, MD – TT Limited & Immediate Past President of Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI); RD Udeshi, President – Polyester Chain, Reliance Industries Limited; and N Rajagopalan, Director, Trigger Apparels Limited.
Vijoy Kumar Singh, Additional Secretary - Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, and Prem Kumar Kataria, Ex. Special Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, would participate as guest speakers.
