The historic textile town of Huddersfield in West Yorkshire will on November 2 host the ‘Make it British Forum’, a gathering of fashion and textile industry professionals, offering presentations, panel discussions, networking opportunities and the chance to learn how to make the most of a UK label. This year’s theme is ‘Building a Made in Britain Business’.
The one-day event aims at helping tight-budget companies that manufacture in Britain to get better at promoting what they do, according to a statement from the organisers.
Participants will gain insights into marketing strategies that other brands are using to promote their ‘Britishness’.
The previous such events have seen participations from British brand owners, manufacturers, buyers, consultants, suppliers and start-ups. (DS)
