India International Knit Fair spawns inquires worth ₹300cr

The 47th edition of India International Knit Fair (IIKF) concluded in Tiruppur with business enquiries of around ₹300 crore. New buyers from countries like Sri Lanka, Mauritius, the Uniyted Arab Emirates, the United States, the United Kingdom, Bangladesh, Europe and Canada visited the February 17-19 event to identify and source their requirements.
More than 30 buyers and 142 buying houses or agents visited the event organised by Apparel Export Promotion Council, according to a report in a top Indian business daily.
Around 40 leading exporters from Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Chennai, and Kolkata participated.
