The ‘Fairtrade Business Partner of the Year’ award acknowledges Indian Terrain’s unwavering dedication to fair trade principles across its supply chain. At Indian Terrain, our belief is firmly rooted in fashion that not only looks good but also does good. Our sustainability journey began in 2020 with the launch of 40,000 Fairtrade-labelled pieces, making us the first high-street fashion brand to collaborate with Fairtrade. Since then, we’ve wholeheartedly embraced ethical and sustainable practices, with our production expanding to a quantity of 4,00,000 Fairtrade-labelled pieces in FY 23-24. We take pride in sourcing over 300 tonnes of seed cotton from Fairtrade certified farms in India and thereby positively impacting the lives of over 10,000 farmers.
