Indian textile firm Indo Count reports revenue of ₹739 cr in Q2

Second quarter (Q2) revenue at Indo Count, an Indian specialised end-to-end bedding provider, has increased to ₹738.7 crore compared to the revenue of ₹713.8 crore in the same period of previous fiscal. However, the company’s net profit for the three-month quarter ended on September 30, 2021, slipped to ₹79.1 crore (Q2 FY21: ₹84.6 crore).
Total expenses during Q2 FY22 totalled to ₹649.8 crore (₹613.0 crore), while profit before tax rose to ₹117.1 crore (₹107.3 crore).
Furthermore, the Indian manufacturer and exporter of cotton yarn and knitted fabrics firm’s year-over-year revenue for the six-month period of FY22 escalated to ₹1,452.7 core compared to the revenue of ₹1,045.5 crore in the first half (H1) of FY21. Moreover, net profit for H1 more than doubled to ₹202.1 crore (₹98.5 crore).
